St. Mary’s Preschool offers PreK classes for 3 and 4-year-olds three or five days per week. Students can attend for half-days or full-days, with or without Extended Care in the mornings or afternoons.

Deciding where to begin your child’s formal learning journey is a personal and significant decision for everyone involved. You want the right combination of skills taught in a safe and nurturing environment. At St. Mary’s Preschool, our philosophy is to begin at the beginning! We start with where your child is developmentally and guide him or her towards achievement in a nationally-recognized, primary curriculum. This approach includes a reading curriculum that uses a multi-modal system — visual, auditory, and kinesthetic — the way children learn from birth! And yes, they all complete the journey!

Where We Begin

What makes your child’s year really special and super fun? Memorable moments in St. Mary’s PreK include the annual Car Show, Drive-In Movie Day, Pajama & Pancake Days, holiday parties, activities with 7th grade buddies, and Fr. Dan’s visits to the classroom. We also take field trips to the fire station, enjoy visits from public safety officials, take care of class pets, and meet visiting farm animals.

Our PreK classrooms are in the primary wing of St. Mary’s School’s safe and secure campus with one-point outside access via video surveillance. PreK enjoys its own private, fenced playground with classroom access and plenty of time to play in the full-sized gymnasium. Water fountains and bathrooms are child-sized for the primary wing of Preschoolers through 2nd graders.
